Welcome to ACTORS.LU, the official site for professional stage and screen actors in Luxembourg.

The goal of ACTORS.LU is to establish a complete database for all professional actors working in Luxembourg. A website created by actors for actors. It should become an important tool for local casting agents and directors, as well as the local producers. But it should also be a showcase for Luxembourg actors. A singular format is used to put each actor on the same level.

Rules

In order to guarantee the professionalism of the publicized information, we have opted for a singular format for each profile, regarding content and structure.

1. This website is aimed at professional actors working in Luxembourg. By “professional” we mean actors who have worked for one of the member theatres of the FLTP (Fédération Luxembourgeoise des Théâtres Professionnels), and/or who have appeared as actors in films supported by the Luxembourg Film Fund or its equivalent. Extras work does not figure.

2. In order for one’s profile to be put online, the following minimum information has to be sent in :

• 1 casting photo (in portrait format and mentioning the photographer’s name),
• the ACTORS.LU actor’s form and
• a complete CV.

3. Each actor can add the following to his profile :

• 1 to 2 additional photos : no « private » photos please
• Do not forget to mention the photographer’s name
• 1 show reel (film, not theatre) of maximum 4 minutes : only extracts from professional films as defined above.
• The films must have already had a public showing.
• Up to 3 audio reels of maximum 30 seconds each (format mp3).

The profile will include : photos, CV in html, downloadable CV in pdf , show reel (audio and/or video) in streaming, contact details and a link to personal webpage.

4. The profiles are updated twice a year. The deadline will be announced by e-mail.

5. Each actor is responsible for the content of their profile as well as the content of their audiovisual material.

6. The actor gives ACTORS.LU the permission to make changes to the supplied material if necessary, in order to keep to the singular format.

7. The actor takes full responsibility regarding the copyright of his material.
